You should have at least 1+ years experience in commercial duct installation

It is important that you be able to work in a team

Install commercial ductwork for commercial/light industrial projects

Install hangers and then installing duct in a commercial construction setting

You need to be able to read and interpret a blue print and install HVAC duct appropriately
-
You will be working alongside other HVAC installers and other contractors for MEP
-
You should to be able to work effectively with inevitable discrepancies with other contractors
TECHNICIANS

You will be responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Technicians:
-
Perform repairs, overhauls, and start-ups of commercial HVAC systems
-
Use a variety of hand tools, following blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping schemes or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units
-
Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers
-
Prepare for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work as necessary.

Maintain vehicles by keeping records of service manuals, scheduling, and completing repairs and maintenance service
-
Document work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.

Keep current all manufacturers’ products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair

Provide technical support to customers
TRAINEES

As a trainee trainee you will work under supervision of a journey-level HVAC technician to become proficient in the skills and tools required for the job.

During your training, you help install, repair, or maintain commercial HVAC and industrial refrigeration systems.

Your duties include following blueprints to install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment in commercial buildings.

When working on repair jobs, you diagnose the problem and make necessary repairs.

You may start the training with just observing the experienced technicians complete their work, but eventually, you are given specific tasks to complete with your supervisor.

Trainees can spend two years in which you are usually required to take several classes in addition to your on-the-job training.
