INSTALLERS

  • You should have at least 1+ years experience in commercial duct installation

  • It is important that you be able to work in a team

  • Install commercial ductwork for commercial/light industrial projects

  • Install hangers and then installing duct in a commercial construction setting

  • You need to be able to read and interpret a blue print and install HVAC duct appropriately

  • You will be working alongside other HVAC installers and other contractors for MEP

  • You should to be able to work effectively with inevitable discrepancies with other contractors

TECHNICIANS

  • You will be responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Technicians:

  • Perform repairs, overhauls, and start-ups of commercial HVAC systems

  • Use a variety of hand tools, following blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping schemes or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units

  • Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers

  • Prepare for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work as necessary.

  • Maintain vehicles by keeping records of service manuals, scheduling, and completing repairs and maintenance service

  • Document work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.

  • Keep current all manufacturers’ products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair

  • Provide technical support to customers

TRAINEES

  • As a trainee trainee you will work under  supervision of a journey-level HVAC technician to become proficient in the skills and tools required for the job.

  • During your training, you help install, repair, or maintain commercial HVAC and industrial refrigeration systems.

  • Your duties include following blueprints to install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment in commercial buildings.

  • When working on repair jobs, you diagnose the problem and make necessary repairs.

  • You may start the training with just observing the experienced technicians complete their work, but eventually, you are given specific tasks to complete with your supervisor.

  • Trainees can spend two years in which you are usually required to take several classes in addition to your on-the-job training.
